1. Data We Collect
Account data (username, email, hashed password) collected at registration; authentication tokens issued by the unified member-center backend; and usage telemetry required to operate the directory (search queries, rate-limit counters). We do not store payment card data — all payments are processed on Stripe's hosted gateway.
2. Directory Data Provenance
Investor records are provisioned exclusively by an automated verification pipeline operating on public sources: SEC filings, public company registries, published fund mandates, and first-party submission channels. Contact details are only published after domain-consistency and SMTP-liveness verification. Investors may request review or removal of a record at privacy@sponsorbounty.me.
3. How We Use Data
To operate membership, deliver the directory and thesis-matching features, generate tailored outreach drafts on your explicit request, prevent abuse (rate limiting), and communicate membership notices. We do not sell personal data, and we do not operate an advertising network.
4. Confidential Layer
Unmasked investor contact channels are restricted to verified paid members under our Terms of Service. Members may not resell, re-publish, or bulk-export unmasked contact data. Violations result in immediate termination.
5. Cookies & Local Storage
We use browser local storage to persist your session token and display name only. Membership status is never trusted from local storage — it is re-validated against the backend on every session.
6. Retention & Deletion
Account data is retained while your membership is active and for 90 days thereafter. You may request export or deletion of your account data at any time via privacy@sponsorbounty.me.
